PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a bulb capable of restricting deterioration of quality and performance due to blackening of the inner wall of a case to improve a service life by securely discharging the absorption and storage gas from metal members forming a mount into the discharge air. SOLUTION: The mount 4 is sealed in the glass case 6, and the case sealed with this mount is heated to discharge the air. In this method of manufacturing the bulb, the metal members 2 and 3 forming the mount is heated to a deforming temperature of the case or more during the heating of the case of discharge of the air.
