PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collecting system that can efficiently collect only the information required by those who wish to acquire the information in order to solve the problem of difficulty in acquiring necessary information in conventional Internet retrieval. SOLUTION: This information collecting system is composed of a client who wishes to acquire necessary information, an agent requested from the client to mediate in acquiring the information, and an information provider having an information input-output means capable of acquiring and sending the information through the Internet. On the basis of the information required by the client invited using a home page on a server, the information provider provides the server with specified information through the Internet, and specified evaluation is given to the provided information at the server.
