Coloring of galvanizd metal components by dipping in a pH controlled chemical coloring bath

摘要

A method for coloring metal components subjected to galvanisation consists of immersing the components in a chemical coloring bath having a pH between 1 and 3 and containing active elements able to react with the zinc in the galvanization coating to form coloured complexes of a dark color followed by rinsing and drying of the treated components. Independent claims are also included for the chemical coloring bath used in this method and for the metallic component treated by this method.
