The shopping trolley has a chassis (2) with two rear upright supports (6) forming a plug connection with support elements (13) on the back of the basket (8). The elements are formed by hollow holders (14). The supports project through the holders, and the outside support sections (7) above the holders are connected to the trolley push bar unit (19). The basket is pushed over the holders from above, and it has locking elements on the underside of its floor (15), for additional connection to the chassis.
