A primary packaging for transdermal therapeutic systems (TTS) or medical plasters, which is fitted with a flat strip of packaging material which is adhesive in at least one partial area and comprises a top cover. The strip of packaging material and the cover are joined to each other in such a way that an inner space is formed, said inner space being suitable for the packaging of a TTS or a plaster which is enclosed on all sides. The adhesive area of the strip of packaging material is oriented towards the inner space and is used to attach the TTS or plaster which is to be packaged.
