A rake receiver (40) has a plurality of fingers, each finger having associated therewith a delay-locked-loop arranged to control its respective finger to track a component of a received signal. The delay-locked-loop of at least one finger comprises early and late correlators (22) connected to respective inputs of a subtractor (31) via respective filter elements (41, 42). The filter elements (41, 42) each include a respective controllable bandwidth filter (43).
