<p>Diagnosis system for motor vehicle tires has a low or high frequency transmitter unit attached inside or on the surface of a tire and a receiver and analysis unit situated inside the vehicle. The transmitter unit is connected to a sensor unit that measures sound vibrations at frequencies up to ultrasonic, but measurements can also include temperature and pressure. The analysis unit is for sound analysis, which together with additional sensor information is used to detect anomalous tire behavior and generate appropriate warnings. The sensor and transmitter are powered inductively.</p> |
