SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING PORNOGRAPHIC CONTENTS

PURPOSE: A pornographic contents detection system and method are provided to effectively detect pornographic image without influence of a background color using an image based detection scheme. CONSTITUTION: A main object extractor(120) partitions images into a group, and extracts a main object form the partitioned images. A skin section extractor(130) distinguishes first pornographic contents in the skin area extracted by applying a predetermined equation. If the image is distinguished to the first pornographic content, a texture feature detection unit(140) distinguishes final pornographic content according to texture feature extracted from the image. A pornographic content prevention unit(150) prevents the output of image in which the main object discriminated to the final pornographic content.
