PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent, highly water-resistant, abrasion-resistant and lustering solution which can further reinforce the processed effect of a coated fiber product. SOLUTION: This transparent, highly water-resistant, abrasion-resistant and lustering solution is characterized by dissolving a silicone oil is turpentine oil, dissolving a polyalkyl methacrylate in 1-4 dioxin or 2-butanone (methyl ethyl ketone), mixing the solutions, adding a small amount of formamide and/or methanol to the obtained solution mixture to obtain the transparent solution, and further adding rosin and/or methyl palmitate.
