PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift actuator of a transmission which is superior in durability and high in operating speed. SOLUTION: This shift actuator of the transmission for operating shift lever for operating a synchronizing device of the transmission to a shift direction is provided with first and second solenoids for operating members connected to the shift lever to different directions to each other. The first and second solenoids are respectively formed by a casing, a fixed core arranged inside the casing, a moving core arranged freely to approach/detach on/from the fixed core, a plunger mounted on the moving core to engage with the operating member, and electromagnetic coils among the fixed core and the moving core and the casing.
