PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal visor device capable of properly controlling the light transmissivity of the liquid crystal visor in each visor region by adding a brightness at or around a window of a moving body provided with the liquid crystal visor. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal visor device 1 comprises the liquid crystal visor 11 having a plurality of visor regions 31 capable of independently controlling the light transmissivity, provided at the window of the moving body, and comparators 61 for discriminating whether light blocking with the visor regions 31 is required or not in accordance with the detection result of an azimuth sensor 13 for detecting the intensity of an incident light in the predetermined direction. The reference level of each comparator 61 as a discrimination criterion for the light blocking to be required or not is automatically changed so that it is higher as a value for a reference illumination signal outputted by a reference illumination sensor 15 for detecting a brightness at or around the window is higher and that the corresponding visor region 31 is free from the light blocking unless the intensity of the incident light is higher as the brightness at or around the window is higher.
