摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shocks by reducing sudden changes in engine torque caused by speed-reduction fuel-cut(F/C) control. SOLUTION: This deceleration control system is provided with an ignition timing control means, a throttle opening detecting means, and an idle switch. The fuel-cut control is effected if throttle opening is smaller than set opening with the idle switch turned on, and when a set period of time has elapsed after ignition timing was retarded. The fuel-cut control is effected if the throttle opening from the detecting means is smaller than the set opening with the idle switch turned on, and when the set period of time has elapsed after the duty of an ISC valve was made smaller than a steady-state value.
