PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc-type steam trap of a structure that the fluid in a pressure- changing chamber is not exhausted, before a valve disc is separated from an inner ring valve seat. SOLUTION: A lid 2 is attached to the body 1, having an inlet 4 and outlet 5, and the inlet 4 is put in communication to the pressure changing chamber 3 through a jet hole 6, which opens at the center of the chamber 3. A ring-shaped groove 8 is provided around the jet hole 6, so that the inner ring valve seat 9 in a ring shape is formed between the jet hole 6 and groove 8, and around the groove 8, an outer ring valve seat 10 in a ring shape, concentric with the inner ring valve seat 9 and some lower than it is formed. The end of the groove 8 is put in communication to the outlet 5 through an exhaust hole 7. The valve disc 11 for opening and closing the valve by seating itself on the valve seats 9 and 10 and separating therefrom is arranged in the chamber 3 in a free state. A seat ring 12 sliding on the peripheral wall of the outer ring valve seat 10 is installed at the periphery of the outer ring valve seat 10, and a wavy spring 13 in a ring shape, made of a resilient material to allow the top of the seal ring 12 to protrude slightly from the outer ring valve seat 10, when the valve disc 11 is in the opening stroke, is installed between the peripheral bottom wall of the outer ring valve seat 10 and the undersurface of the seal ring 12.
