PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve tire uniformity. SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 is furnished with a carcass 6 toroidally straddling between a pair of bead cores 5, 5. The carcass 6 is made of a carcass ply 6A arranging carcass cords in parallel. The carcass ply 6A is furnished with a cord continuing part A1 formed of the carcass cords continuing a main body part 6a straddling between a pair of the bead cores 5, 5 and a folded-back part 6b folded back around the bead core 5 and a cord non-continuing part A2 formed of non-continuing carcass cords not to continue the main body part 6a and the folded-back part 6b in the neighbourhood of the bead core 5.
