PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carbon fiber for reinforcing thermoplastic resin which shows high reinforcing effect, injection molding pellets including the carbon fiber and thermoplastic resin molded bodies reinforced with the carbon fiber wherein thermoplastic resin molded body reinforced with this carbon fiber has relatively high surface electric resistance. SOLUTION: An electrolyte compound of 5-100 ppm (mass standard), for example ammonium sulfate is applied to the surface of the carbon fiber and the treated carbon fiber is used for reinforcing the thermoplastic resin. the carbon fiber is dispersed into a thermoplastic resin, for example, polyoxymethylene, polycarbonate, or the like to prepare the objective injection molding pallets.
