PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee liquid obtained by reducing the amount of potassium in an extract of coffee by zeolite. SOLUTION: A patient with renal failure is intensively restricted so as not to ingest the potassium, and the coffee drink which is in the category of tasty drink having a high potassium content can not be freely ingested by the patient. The coffee liquid obtained by decreasing the content of the potassium by treating the extract of the coffee with zeolite can be freely ingested without paying attention to the above-mentioned facts.
