PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently roast peanuts without changing color and aroma. SOLUTION: This apparatus for roasting with superheated steam is provided with a rotating drum freely rotatably arranged and having stirring blades installed side by side in a housing, making steam from a boiler pass through a superheater and communicate with a steam discharging pipe installed in the shaft direction in the rotating drum and directly discharging an exhaust gas in the rotating drum so as to roast the peanuts.
