PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar catalyst forming device that can stably manufacture a planar catalyst formed body having a uniform pitch of ruggedness even when dispersion of thickness exists in the catalyst body before forming. SOLUTION: In a device for passing a planar catalyst body 5 into forming rolls equipped with an upper and lower rolls 1, 2 to form a prescribed ruggedness onto a planar catalyst, there are provided a sensor 6 that monitors the thickness of the planar catalyst body 5, and a driving device 3 that drives the upper or the lower roll 1, 2 as well as adjusts a gap between the rolls 1, 2 on the basis of a value detected by the sensor 6. |
