PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance attraction by varying the layout of a board surface in a pachinko game machine. SOLUTION: A playing area 13 is divided in three to arrange a major scoring device 15 at an upper part as the topmost area and a liquid crystal disc 29 is arranged below it. Moreover, a variable scoring device 25 serving as a starting slot is arranged below the disc and when the major scoring device 15 is operated (opening a major scoring slot 17), the major scoring slot 17 can be utilized sufficiently, for example, winning with game balls fully upto the prescribed number thereof for winning. The layout of the game nails 19 above the major scoring slot 17 is such that the game balls are guided in the direction of the major scoring slot 17 to allow the winning of the major scoring slot 17 with the game balls efficiently. The major scoring device 15 looks fresh because it is arranged at an upper portion of the playing region 13 instead of at a lower portion or others of the playing region 13 in the past.
