PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smokeless roaster which has a simple constitution in which an inner pot is eliminated and fire of charcoal in a charcoal port can be uniformly made. SOLUTION: A feeding opening 19 for wind for making a fire fed into a charcoal pot 14 is opened on the side wall of a water tank 9, and a cap body 24 provided with a wind direction plate 23d facing to an air blowing hole 21 of an air blowing fan 20 is fitted to the feeding opening 19 in which the top face 23a, the bottom face 23b and one 23c of the side faces are closed. When the wind for making a fire is fed into the water tank 9 from the feeding opening 19, it hits the wind direction plate 23d and changes its wind direction and it swirls along the side wall of the water tank 9. As the wind for making a fire flows into from the peripheral edge of the bottom end opening 16 of the charcoal pot 14 supported on the water tank 9 while it swirls, the charcoal in the charcoal pot 14 can be uniformly burnt. In addition, it may be also possible that the wind for making a fire is fed approximately in the tangential direction of the side wall of the water tank mounted on the outer pot and the wind for making a fire may be swirled along the side wall of the water tank.
