WIDE-RANGE PATHOLOGIC MODEL ANIMAL OF CARDIAC INFARCTION, METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR SCREENING DRUG USING THE SAME MODEL ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problems that a model animal dies with a high probability by accompanying cardiac failure in prior art, effects of other organs should be consid ered in analysis and a wide-range model of cardiac infarction cannot be prepared, etc., and obtain the wide-range pathologic model animal of the cardiac infarction capable of separating a state of the cardiac failure and preparing the wide-range pathologic model of the cardiac infarction. SOLUTION: This wide-range pathologic model animal of the cardiac infarction is prepared by extracting the heart of a normal animal, carrying out ligating operation of the central part of the left coronary artery of the extracted heart, conducting ectopic transplantation of the heart subjected to the ligating operation to an abdominal part of another normal animal and providing the resultant animal subjected to the ectopic hear transplantion for the wide-range pathologic model animal of the cardiac infarction. The method for preparing the model animal is provided and the method for screening a drug is carried out by using the model animal. The wide-range pathologic model of the cardiac infarction is completed after the passage of three weeks from the transplantation.
