<p>PURPOSE: To provide a reliable planar type semiconductor device by preventing electrodes formed on the same surface from contacting each other. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device with an electrode is provided. It comprises a semiconductor substrate 1 with a first conductive type first region 6 and a second region 3 of the opposite conductive type at the same surface side, a first electrode 81 that is made of a metal material with a first thickness on the first region, a second electrode 7 and a third electrode 82 that are made of a metal material on the second region and the first electrode, respectively. Also, the second electrode has a smaller, second thickness than the first thickness.</p> |
