<p>The electric cable comprises two adjacent sleeves (11,12) each containing several conductors (110, 120). The two adjacent sleeves are linked together by a strip of material (131) forming a seating in which an optical fibre may be supported. The strip of link material combined with the inwardly projecting tabs defines a longitudinal seating between the two sleeves which is able to receive either an electrical conductor or an optical fibre (130). The seating is formed in a mono-block construction with the two sleeves, and is partially open to enable the insertion of the additional cable or fibre. In an alternative it may be closed and sealed, but opened by cutting along one side.</p> |
