<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP communication system, an IP communication method and a portable terminal with which an IP communication can be easily realized when two portable terminals each having an IP communication function communication each other, even if the other communication party's cellular telephone has not acquired an IP address. SOLUTION: When the first portable terminal makes an IP communication to the second portable terminal, the first terminal inquires the IP address of a DNS server by designating the host name of the second terminal. As a result, if the first terminal cannot know the IP address, the first terminal sends a message to urge acquiring an IP address to the second terminal through a mobile communication network.</p> |
