<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system/method for supporting a desktop conference and a program which facilitate preparation for holding of the desktop conference. SOLUTION: The organizer of the desktop conference operates a terminal 500 to register information on a conference scheduled to be held to a desktop conference host terminal 100. A prescribed period before the start scheduled time of the registered scheduled conference, the terminal 100 transmits an electronic mail for giving notice of holding of the conference to the terminals 500 of scheduled participants. The respective scheduled participants transmits answer to the received holding notice to the terminal 100, which confirms attendants based on the received answers the obtains the IP addresses of the terminals 500 fitted to the answers. The terminal 100 gives notice of the obtained IP addresses to the terminals 500 of the respective participants.</p> |
