PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of realizing automatic focusing in a photographing mode corresponding to an object distance more accurately while maintaining inexpensive and simple constitution. SOLUTION: This digital camera is provided with an ordinary automatic focusing function for driving a photographic lens so as to automatically focus it on an object from a specified position to infinity, and a macro automatic focusing function for driving the photographic lens so as to automatically focus it on an object from the specified position to the shortest distance at which photographing is performed. Then, it is provided with an angle detection means for detecting the present angle of depression of the digital camera and a control means for performing focus control by making the macro automatic focusing function act when the angle of depression satisfies a specified condition. |
