PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal prevented from lowering spring pressure and generating contact failure in spite of reduced total height. SOLUTION: A movable pin 2 moves downward against a spring 1A, and the spring 1A is compressed when the connection terminal is connected. By this contact, the movable pin 2 is pressed downward by the length of stroke 4. As the spring 1A is spiral, the smaller diameter part is housed inside the bigger diameter part adjacent in vertical direction, and the height can be compressed as small as the diameter of the spring wire. Accordingly, the moving length (the length of stroke) of the movable pin 2 becomes longer than the moving length of existing products, and when the stroke of the movable pin 2 is made the same as the stroke of existing products, the height of a holder 3 can be made lower than the height of the existing products, and the height of the connection terminal can be reduced.
