WATER-BASE COATING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-base coating composition capable of readily providing a coating operation efficiency or storage stability comparable to that of a conventional water-base coating composition and further drying properties and a weather resistance comparable to those of a conventional solvent type coating. SOLUTION: This water-base coating composition is characterized by comprising a synthetic resin emulsion, an amino group-containing polymer, a volatile base and a silane coupling agent and further a deodorant added thereto. Furthermore, the water-base coating composition contains a pigment and an anionic pigment dispersing agent neutralized with a volatile basic compound.
