PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device and an image forming device capable of preventing the occurrence of wrinkles and performing fixation with high image quality with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In the fixing device equipped with a 1st rotating body 6 provided with an elastic layer and a 2nd rotating body 2 which are brought into contact with the inside surface of an endless belt 1, a pressurizing rotating body 5 provided with an elastic layer and arranged so as to come into press contact with the 1st rotating body through the endless belt and form a 1st contact area N1, and a heating source 4 for heating the belt from the inside of the endless belt, and for fixing the image by bringing the unfixed toner carrying surface of the recording material P into contact with the endless belt and making the unfixed toner carrying surface pass through the 1st contact area in accordance with the rotating action of the endless belt, the 2nd rotating body 2 is arranged on the upstream side in the recording material passing direction, and as for the 2nd rotating body 2, among the parts coming into contact with the endless belt, the part positioned close to the pressurizing rotating body 7 is positioned closer to the pressurizing rotating body than a tangent S between the 1st rotating body and the pressurizing rotating body, then, a 2nd contact area N2 coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pressurizing rotating body and continuing from the 1st contact area is formed.
