The servo assistance unit has a piston (4) in a crankcase (2,3) moving along an axis (A) transmitting an assistance force. A bell section (7) separates a pressure chamber (8) from a variable pressure chamber (9). A valve mechanism (10) is arranged in an axial slide (11,18,26). The servomechanism has two positions, a rest position where the pressure between the chambers is equal and a command position where a pressure differential is established. The connection unit couples the valve piston (17) axially.
