PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head with satisfied yield having the less butting deviation of magnetic cores at the triangular pointed parts of windows for winding which is caused by the finishing accuracy of the window for winding and the operating accuracy at the time of butting, or the fabrication of the gap surface, etc. SOLUTION: The method is provided with the process for forming the window 1 for winding on a pair of half bodies 3 of the magnetic core, the process for forming at least one slope 8 crossed with an intersected line between the window and the gap surface 6 on a sliding surface 5 of a pair of half bodies of the magnetic core while having the inclination <90 deg. with respect to the sliding surface, and the process for positioning a pair of half bodies of the magnetic core each other by taking intersected points 9, 9' between the gap surface exposed on the slope and the window as the reference to integrate the joining.
