PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel flat heating surface type gas stove wherein an article to be heated can be heated through heat resistant glass with high heating efficiency with which it sufficiently endures practical use although it is a simple gas stove, whereby inconvenience owing to its exposure to a flame can be avoided with easy cleaning. SOLUTION: A flat heating surface type gas stove 10 is provided, in which a heat resistant glass flat heating surface 12 is provided at above a surface combustion burner 20 having a combustion surface 22 with improved radiation efficiency which surface comprise silicon carbide fibers for example, and in which a space between the surface combustion burner 20 and the flat heating surface 12 is employed as a combustion space. In the gas stove 10, heat exchange means (waste heat recovery means) is provided between a combustion waste gas passage 30 and a combustion air passage 40 communicated with the combustion space. Mixed gas of combustion gas and combustion air raised in temperature owing to heat exchange with combustion waste gas through heat exchange means is supplied to the surface combustion burner 20 for surface combustion. |
