PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electromagnetic wave absorbing material powder which is improved in electromagnetic wave absorbing characteristics by determining the size of particle of material powder for obtaining the powder that has an optimal aspect ratio and consists of fine particles. SOLUTION: Electromagnetic wave absorbing material powder is composed of 10 or below mass% particles of grain diameter 10 μm or below, 5 or below mass% particles of above 150 μm, and the residual mass% particles of 10 to 150 μm. Furthermore, the material uses soft magnetic powder of Hv 100 to 250 as material powder, and is subjected to flattening processing. This material powder is subjected to a flattening process so as to be used as electromagnetic wave absorbing material powder whose average aspect ratio is 10 to 50, major axis is 200 μm in average length, and average thickness is 10 μm or below. |
