<p>PURPOSE:To provide an extending/contructing device of a scraping-out arm, in which an extending/contructing distance and an extending/constructing speed are large and high by lightening and the heat resistance is good and further, the damage caused by over-heating is not developed, in the scraping-out arm for removing slag floated up on the molten metal in an aluminum melting furnace. CONSTITUTION:One shaft of the scraping-out arm 5 is composed of the extending/contructing device P supported so as to be feedable in the axial direction and a driving device 17 giving the feeding force. In a supporting device 12, at least three pieces of movable rollers 15 rotated by contacting with the scraping-out arm 5 in the front and back direction to each are hinged in the arrangement of almost radial direction. In the driving device 17, a driven rail 9 is projected along the center of the lower surface of the scraping-out arm 5 and one pair of feeding rollers at the right and left direction while sandwiching the rail in the pressure are supported so as to be rotatable synchronously. By this method, without interrupting the melting work, the working efficiency is improved.</p> |
