<p>A heating furnace with regenerative burners and a method of controlling a furnace pressure; the heating furnace, comprising a plurality sets of regenerative burners having preheat zones, heating zones, uniform zones, and, as heat sources of the uniform heating zones, pairs of burners with heat reservoirs disposed opposedly to each other; a method of controlling the furnace pressure in the uniform heating zones, comprising the step of controlling the sucking rate of exhaust gas from the burners to the heat reservoirs according to the combustion load of the entire heating furnace, whereby the furnace pressure can be strictly controlled by utilizing regenerative burner-specific mechanisms when operating the heating furnaces with less heat loss re-utilizing the heat of the exhaust gas for the pre-heat of combustion air for the burners by using the regenerative burners as the heating sources of the continuous heating furnace.</p> |
