The floor covering, with elasticity, has bonded multi-layer floor boards (10,12) with a tongue and groove (20,22,24) lock between them. At least one upper layer (14) is of linoleum or plastics or cork, a center layer (16) is of a hard fiber material, and at least one lower carrier/insulation layer (18) is of cork or plastics or rubber. The locking groove has an upper elastic lip (20) at least partially part of the upper layer and chamfered inwards, and a lower rigid and longer lip (22). The tongue (24) has locking projections (26,32) to act with the groove lips.
