<p>The present invention relates to the honeycomb core for sandwich-structure materials made by coating non-organic filler, such as Na2O•nSiO2•xH2O, Na2O•Al2O3•xH2O, or Li2O•nSiO2•xH2O on the surface of supporting materials, such as paper, natural or synthetic fiber, or wood, which has highly enhanced compression strength and flame retardancy with light weight. Since the present invention improves and overcomes the effects of paper, natural or synthetic fiber, or wood as honeycomb core material, the honeycomb core of the present invention can replace the conventional expensive honeycomb core made by aramid or aluminum.</p> |
