PURPOSE: A rotating mirror scanning apparatus for use in a micro display is provided to realize a portable compact size and a high resolution for applying to a virtual reality. CONSTITUTION: A rotating mirror scanning apparatus for use in a micro display includes an LED array(110) for generating a line image, a rotating mirror(120) for reflecting by scanning the line image linearly output from the LED array(110), a magnifying lens(130) for magnifying and outputting the line image reflected from the rotating mirror(120) and a motor for operating the rotating mirror(120). The rotating mirror scanning apparatus has the advantage of increasing a resolution to a high level in comparison with an LCD, and of being a low power, a compact size and of preventing a user from being radiated from a deteriorate wave such as an infrared in comparison with a CRT.
