PURPOSE: A method for checking bridge and a structure therefor are provided to, especially, manage/repair the bridge even apart far from a checking passage such as metal beam at distance between respective piers and/or concrete top panel when damages and/or cracks on the structure are exposed. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises arranging required number of metal beams(2) under a condition of both ends of the metal beams(2) to a bridge bearing by using block and bridge bearing; placing the top plate(3) made of concrete material onto the beams; mounting a ladder(17) in order to conduct safety test and repairing; transferring from the ladder(17) to the bridge check stand(19) and bring down a load at lateral side of pier(1); equipping a safety floor plate(18) at side portion of the bridge pier(1). The bridge check stand has a constant height and rectangular shape; attaching number of pulleys for connecting.
