A de-odourising device (20) is mounted to the inside of a refuse bin (10) and comprises a pump-action dispenser having an actuatinng plunger (46) arranged to be depressed upon closure of the lid (12) of the bin, the dispenser serving to dispense a quantity of de-odourising liquid upon either closing or opening the lid.
