The invention relates to a drive train (1) of a vehicle and to a method for controlling a drive train (1) comprising a drive unit (2), a gearbox (3) and an output (4). The gearbox (3) is configured with a power separating shift element (5) as a starting element, gearwheel pairs (6A to 6E) and shift devices (7A, 7B, 7C) corresponding to the latter for selecting different gear ratios in the gearbox (3). The shift devices (7A, 7B, 7C) and the power separating shift element (5) are configured and can be controlled in such a way, that a traction upshift is carried out during a shift from a previous gear to a new gear, by means of a simultaneous, spontaneous selection of the new gear and release of the previous gear from interactive connections achieved by positive fit between a respective shift device (7A, 7B, 7C) and a respective gearwheel pair (6A to 6E) allocated to said shift device (7A, 7B, 7C), without interrupting the tractive force in the drive train (1), said selection being carried out in the presence of a differential speed for the interactive connection achieved by positive fit that is allocated to the new gear. |
