PURPOSE: An automatic position informing device attached on a safety hat to inform the position of a worker who is wearing the safety hat at the job site on a cloudy day or in a dark place is provided which can previously prevent an accident and minimize loss of human resources and material resources. CONSTITUTION: This position informing device comprises: a photo-detecting part(10) attached on the outside of a safety helmet to detect the quantity of light and determine bright and dark state; a control part(14) for receiving the detected signal from the photo-detecting part and controlling; and a display part(16) for receiving a lamp filtering control signal output from the control part and flickering a lamp. The display part comprises a plurality of lamps for flickering to inform a worker's position and a nonstable multi-vibrator to flicker the plurality of lamps.
