The invention concerns novel cosmetic or dermatological compositions, in particular for solar protection of the skin and/or hair, exhibiting enhanced solar protection power, and characterised in that they comprise, in a cosmetically and/or dermatologically acceptable support: (i) at least a 1,3,5-triazine derivative (filter); (ii) at least a tricarboxylic acid triester (solvent) in an amount sufficient for solubilizing on its own said derivative completely. The invention also concerns their use for protecting the skin, the lips, the eyelashes, the eyebrows, the nails against ultraviolet radiation effects.
