<p>The vehicle windscreen wiper (10) comprises a wiper arm (14) which carries a wiper blade. The arm is pivoted on a drive head (12) about an axis (Y-Y). An anchoring spring (28), whose right support is not concurrent with the pivoting axis, between the wiper arm and the drive head. applies a force to the arm. A couple is thus applied to the arm. The distance between the right support and the pivoting axis is varied by a deformable flexible strip (40). This strip has one end connected to the drive head and the other end to the anchoring spring. The deformable strip constitutes a first branch of a flexible adjusting clamp (38) whose second branch (42) is supported against an opposite portion (60,62) of the drive head. An adjusting screw (68) interposed between the two branches of the clamp varies the clamp opening and displaces the first branch free end (52) relative to the end pivot of this branch on the second branch.</p> |
