PURPOSE: To allow a long-time measurement with high throughput in a DNA polymorphic analysis by mass spectrum, and realize a stable measurement even with a low sample concentration. CONSTITUTION: In this system, many kinds of 5-valent or more polyvalent ions are generated by ionization method using gas atomization, and the mass spectrometric spectra thereof are detected and compared with mass spectrum patterns predicted to a non-polymorphic type and polymorphic type to determine the base in a polymorphic position.
