<p>PURPOSE:To improve a gain by radiating the electromagnetic waves of respectively different frequency bands with a patch antenna mounting a center short- circuiting and degenerative separating element and a dipole antenna formed at its upper part. CONSTITUTION:A microwave propagated through a feeding line 4 passes through a feeding point 5 and forms a current component or a magnetic flow component on a patch antenna 3 or at its periphery. An electromagnetic wave is radiated with this current or magnetic flow component as a current source or a magnetic flow source but a polarized wave is turned to a circularly polarized wave by a convex degenerative separating element 8 and a concave degenerative separating element 9. On the other hand, the microwave propagated through a coaxial feeding line 6 is balanced/imbalanced converted by a balancer 7, turned to a standing wave on a dipole antenna 10 and radiated in the air by linear polarization. The radio wave radiated under an antenna axis is reflected by the patch antenna 3 and synthesized with the radio wave radiated above the antenna axis, and the gain is improved.</p> |
