PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety cover device for covering a clamping device such as a die cast machine or an injection molding machine which is capable of improving the operational efficiency and safety, and enhancing work efficiency in the case of maintenance, and preventing a toggle link part requesting precise actions from being polluted by ingress of any molten material or a releasing material. SOLUTION: The safety cover device comprises a toggle link part cover (20) which shields at least three directions of both sides including the operation side and the counter operation side, and an upper surface of the toggle link part, and is slidably supported by a guide rail (30) on a base (10) of the device, and a cover (22) between die plates which is arranged so as to shield at least the operation side of the die plate parts, slide on the guide rail (30) and accommodated in the toggle link part cover (20). The toggle link part cover (20) is attachable/detachable to/from a link housing (18) with the toggle link part fitted thereto.
