PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head in which image quality and reliability can be enhanced by preventing a substrate from warping. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording head where ICs 5 for driving ejection pressure generating elements 2 are mounted on a substrate 1 provided with at least a plurality of pressure generating elements 2, ink channels and ink ejection openings 4 using a thermal means, warp suppression members 6 having a coefficient of thermal expansion substantially equal to that of the IC 5 are mounted on the rear surface of the substrate 1 oppositely to the ICs 5.
