PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for bending which is capable of ensuring the safety on the bending work by preventing broken pieces from being scattered even when the pressure considerably higher than the allowable pressure is applied to the die locally or on the whole during the bending. SOLUTION: Spaces of circular shape H penetrated in the longitudinal direction of the die D are formed in a lower part of a V-shaped groove V formed in the die D toward the longitudinal direction of the die D, and an elastic body such as urethane is fitted in the spaces of circular shape H.
