MULTILAYER HOLLOW BODY, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND COMPRESSION BLOW-MOLDING MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer hollow body having a low permeable level by a welded surface and capable of satisfying required conditions imposed by new environmental standards. SOLUTION: The hollow body formed of several elements of multilayer plastic welded together, comprises a barrier layer that is a barrier to liquids and to gases and the elements are extended toward the outside by an appendage comprising the barrier layer. The hollow body is manufactured by compression molding using a multi-part compression-blow-molding mold comprising welding kerbs which, when the mold is closed, leave between them a space with a height of a cross section that decreases toward the outside of the molding cavity and which is extended by a shallow and broad slot intended to compress the plastic.
